Why we offer Frontline Plus, Advantage Flea Prevention, and Heartgard Plus

Our recommended products for preventing heartworm disease, and flea and tick infestions on your pet are Frontline Plus, Advantage, K9Advantix, Heartgard Plus, Interceptor for dogs, Sentinel, Iverhart Plus and Revolution for dogs and cats. As important as controlling fleas and ticks can be, even more important is the control of heartworm disease. This is done with heartworm preventatives such as Heartgard Plus, Interceptor, Sentinel, Iverhart Plus, Advantage Multi and Revolution.  Heartworm prevention should be given every 30 days and should be given all year round. Heartgard Plus, Interceptor, Sentinel, Iverhart Plus are chewable heartworm preventatives. Revolution and Advantage Multi are topical heartworm preventatives.

Heartworm prevention is critical to the health of your pet.

Heartworm disease can be fatal and treatment is difficult for our pets. This is a preventable disease if the appropriate heartworm preventions are given on a monthly basis 12 months of the year.

One of the most important factors in controlling fleas is to apply a topical flea treatment like Frontline Plus, Advantage, or K9Advantix every month. Using these products on a regular monthly schedule will help avoid the problems and cost associated with flea infestations. Also, fleas carry disease and parasites. One of the most common causes of tapeworms in cats is fleas. The cat grooms itself and ingests a flea and the cat can contract the tapeworm through the ingestion of the flea. Frontline Plus, Advantage, and K9Advantix, all work well to control fleas and help eliminate the risk of disease associated with these parasites.

Interceptor for Dogs, Sentinel, Iverhart Plus, Revolution for Cats, Revolution for Dogs

Ticks also carry many very dangerous diseases that can be prevented with monthly administration of these topical flea and tick preventatives. Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and Ehrlichiosis can be carried and transmitted to your dog from ticks. Frontline Plus, K9Advantix, and Preventic collars will kill the ticks and help prevent your pet from contracting these diseases. Preventic collars last for 3 months and are very effective at keeping the ticks off your pet. Frontline Plus and K9Advanix must be applied every month to be effective at preventing these parasites from harming your pets.

The products outlined Frontline Plus, Advantage Flea control, K9Advantix, Heartgard Plus, Interceptor for dogs, Sentinel, Iverhart Plus, and Revolution for dogs and cats, are necessary monthly medications that help to keep our pets healthy.
